Did you opt out of the Canadian capital markets industry? Experienced, high-calibre professional women who have opted out, represent one of the most important untapped sources of talent. Programs that provide women with an opportunity to update their skills and introduce them to a network of peers can provide the support they need to transition back into the industry.

WCM RETURN TO BAY STREET AWARD

The “Return to Bay Street Award Program” is designed to help professional women re-launch their careers in the Canadian capital markets after an extended period of absence from the industry. In 2013, WCM is working with a broad group of Canadian financial institutions which include RBC Capital Markets, Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets, and the founding sponsor of RTBS, BMO Capital Markets, to offer this award and experienced internships to qualified women.

In preparation to re-launch a full-time career in the Canadian capital markets industry, the successful
candidate(s) will be granted:

$5,000 towards an education program
4-month paid internship at BMO Capital Markets, RBC Capital Markets or Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets to commence in September 2013
a WCM mentor, and
a one-year complimentary WCM Membership

WCM RETURN TO BAY STREET CONFERENCE

Return to Bay Street Conference is a day of education, motivation and networking that will provide you with the tools, confidence and connections to assist you in returning to the capital markets industry. Specifically, the conference will provide women with the opportunity to learn from industry experts and business leaders as well as interact and network with key industry sponsors of the WCM Return to Bay Street Award. If you are an educated professional with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of work experience in either the capital markets or private wealth businesses, have taken a career break or left the capital markets industry for other opportunities and you are motivated to return to our industry, this conference is for you.
